TV Media’s photo assets provide rich design possibilities for developers, offering visual cues for users to quickly connect with the stations and programming they want to watch.
Photo assets available through the TV Listings API are now provided to the following specifications:
Show Card
A series show card is a photo representation of a TV series which features the series cast or a setting familiar to the series.
Show cards are available as 16:9 aspect ratio and sizes have been scaled as
- XL: 1920 x 1080
- L: 1280 x 720
- M: 960 x 540
- S: 480 x 270
- XS: 240 x 135
Title Card
A series title card is a graphic representation of a TV series which features the series’ logo. The image may or may not have cast members or a setting from the series.
Title cards are available as 16:9 aspect ratio and sizes have been scaled as
- XL: 1920 x 1080
- L: 1280 x 720
- M: 960 x 540
- S: 480 x 270
- XS: 240 x 135
Still
An episode still is a photo representation of a scene from a movie or a TV series episode. This image features cast members or a setting familiar to the series/movie.
Stills are available as 16:9 aspect ratio and sizes have been scaled as
- XL: 1920 x 1080
- L: 1280 x 720
- M: 960 x 540
- S: 480 x 270
- XS: 240 x 135
Poster
A poster is a graphic representation of a TV series or movie which features the cast or a setting familiar to the series as well as the logo.
Posters are available as 2:3 aspect ratio and sizes have been scaled as
- XL: 960 x 1400
- L: 480 x 720
- M: 240 x 360
- S: 120 x 180
- XS: 60 x 9
These photo assets, as well as sports team and league logos, are available through the TV Listings API Pro plan.
